Accessibility Statement
How Handy Helperly approaches accessibility, and how to tell us when something doesn't work for you.
Our commitment
We want every visitor to be able to read this site, understand what we do, and request service — including people who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or reduced motion enabled. We build against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our working standard.
What we have built in
- A skip link that jumps straight to the main content
- Keyboard access to navigation, menus, and every form control
- Visible focus indicators on interactive elements
- A text label attached to every form field
- Validation errors announced to screen readers, not shown by color alone
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images
- A single, descriptive heading structure on each page
- Animation that is reduced automatically when your device requests it
Where we know we fall short
We have not yet completed a full independent accessibility audit, and we have not tested this site against every assistive technology and browser combination. We are stating that plainly rather than claiming a level of conformance we have not verified. If you find something that does not work, that finding is useful to us and we want to hear it.
Tell us about a barrier
If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, contact us and describe what happened. Include the page and what you were trying to do, if you can. We will work with you to get you the information or service another way while we fix the underlying problem.
Call (636) 459-1530 or email contact@handyhelperly.com.
Third-party content
Some parts of this site rely on third-party services, and we do not control the accessibility of software we did not build. Where a third-party component creates a barrier, we will help you complete the task directly by phone or email.
